Tiệm Dịu Êm means “the gentle little shop” — and that is exactly what I set out to make.
Made by hand, in Vietnam
My name is Hien Nguyen, and every piece here is crocheted by my own hands, one stitch at a time. There are no machines and no factory floor — only soft yarn, a hook, and the quiet hours it takes to turn one into the other.
A small plush takes an afternoon. A larger piece can take several days. I think that time is what makes the difference: you can feel it when you hold something a person actually made.
Playful, and a little imperfect
I like small things with a bit of personality — a pair of ducks in animal hoods, a capybara in a tiny hat, a succulent that will never need watering. Soft yarn, happy colours, and faces that make people smile on an ordinary day.
Because each item is handmade, no two are identical. A stitch may sit slightly differently; a colour may catch the light in its own way. These are not flaws. They are the reason yours is the only one exactly like it.
What I make
Amigurumi and pocket-sized plush companions, keychains and bag charms, soft hats, and small pieces for the home like succulents and coasters. If you have something particular in mind — a colour, a size, a gift for someone specific — send me a message on Etsy. Custom work is my favourite kind.
From my hands to yours
I ship worldwide from Vietnam, wrapped carefully and sent with a handwritten note. Most pieces are made to order, so please allow a few days for yours to be created before it begins its journey to you.
